Press and Awards

Awarded

A prize changes nothing for a single family. It only says that a jury saw what the parents who write to us see. That is why it is here.

Winner EDISON 2026, Pionier:innen category

bloomnow wins the Pionier:innen category of EDISON 2026. EDISON is the innovation competition run by tech2b, the startup incubator of Upper Austria. Six awards were handed out that evening, worth around 50,000 euros in total, across MedTech, GreenTech, HighTech and social innovation.

The category is backed by Sparkasse Oberösterreich Bank AG and carries 5,000 euros. It looks, in the words of the call for entries, for ideas behind new products and services that make a substantial contribution to more diversity and equality in society.

„In der Pionier-Kategorie setzte sich bloomnow aus dem Bezirk Urfahr-Umgebung durch: Die digitale Plattform verbindet Familien mit neurodivergenten Kindern mit wissenschaftlich fundiertem Wissen und passenden Experten." Trending Topics, 18 September 2026. In English: in the Pionier category, bloomnow prevailed. The digital platform connects families with neurodivergent children to scientifically grounded knowledge and to the right experts.

bloomnow in short

The same text three times, in three lengths, depending on how much room you have. Take it as it stands, and please keep the name lowercase.

In one sentence

bloomnow is the ally for extra-ordinary families. For everyone who supports an extra-ordinary child.

In one paragraph

bloomnow is an ally for families, for educators in kindergartens and schools, and for experts, all around neurodivergence. The app gets to know what a family's everyday life looks like and helps them find what fits. For children who perceive more intensely, think faster and need more, and for the adults who carry that every day. Shaped with input from a clinical advisory board and tested by hundreds of users.

bloomnow was founded in Austria by Anna Christine Enzinger, herself a neurodivergent mother. The app is in closed beta, with the public launch on 15 October 2026.

What is inside bloomnow

  • Instant help for hard moments. Over 50 exercises for meltdowns, sensory overload and evenings when the mind will not settle.
  • bloomie, the everyday support. An AI companion for adults, for parents and educators. Not a chatbot for children.
  • Knowing what a family is entitled to. Which benefits apply in Austria, Germany and Switzerland. Orientation, not legal advice.
  • Experts nearby. Psychologists, occupational therapists, educators and more, filterable by profession. Everyone who joins agrees to the code of conduct.
  • A community where nobody has to explain themselves. A protected exchange with other parents, with experts and with educators.
  • bloomnow Kids and bloomnow Junior. For children aged 4 to 7 and 8 to 12, behind a parent gate. No AI chat, no ads, no purchases, no child account.
  • Built for sensitive minds. Three view modes: light, dark and low-stimulus, for days that were loud enough already.

What bloomnow is not

Not a medical device, not a diagnosis, not a replacement for therapy, not a crisis service. If things become acute, please seek professional help.

That last paragraph matters to us. If you write about bloomnow, please carry it with you: families read an article like that as a promise, and this is the one promise we must not make.

Image material

The logo, views of the app and a portrait of the founder. Right click and save is enough.

We answer press enquiries ourselves, not through an agency. Write to hello@bloomnow.app or call +43 699 18195538.

In German and in English, either works.
